[ Abstract ]
This article reviews the current situation of the companies’ public records in these three regions, in particular regarding the local legislation ruling them and their organization. The author asserts that Company Archives can be considered so only if they constitute a specific institution within the firm and that they make up a historical representation of the enterprising reality where multiple relations develop. Likewise, the historical evolution of the enterprising documents is analyzed within the framework of the business evolvement in Spain.
